What is the square root?

The square root of a number means the number you have to multiply (times) with yourself to get the number you are looking for. Square root is written with the sign "v". The first 10 full quadratic numbers are 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81 and 100. The calculation of square roots below is done by complicated calculation. You can also find square root without using an automatic calculator, but this is a relatively advanced calculation method with fractions, unknown numbers, and no 100% accuracy.

In the real world, we use the function of square roots in engineering, architecture and teaching subjects. Also within computer animations where square root is used as a factor in the natural rotation of objects, or when you will find the hypotenuse of a triangle using the pytagoras phrase. The method of calculation can also be used when planning moving and calculating volume.
